If the goods you receive have been damaged in transit or are faulty, please contact us by telephone, fax or email to firstname.lastname@example.org immediately on the day of receipt. If the package is damaged on arrival, you may be asked to return the goods with its original packaging.
Return of goods / replacement / refunds
We are aware of the nature of purchasing jewellery from the internet, and that on occasion people are not fully satisfied with their purchase. In this case the item must be returned to us in the condition in which it was received - unworn, unused and in its original packaging - within 30 days of shipping, with postage back to us at your cost.
Please inform us of your intention in order to arrange a return/refund of an the item prior to sending the goods, by sending an email to email@example.com You need to indicate whether you require a credit for further purchases with Opals Australia or a refund to your credit card or PayPal account.
Please pack any returns with care ensuring the parcel is secure. Send the goods back to us as a minimum by, registered post if within Australia, and International Recorded if overseas. The Buyer is responsible for the goods while in transit until received by Opals Australia.
Returns will be examined on receipt at Opals Australia. If the goods have been returned under the 30 day return period, they will be processed and a credit/refund will be issued to the purchasing credit card or PayPal account, for the value of the item minus our shipping charges.
If the fault lies with us we will replace the item or refund/credit the cost, including postage, whichever you prefer.
Goods are not sent on approval: all orders accepted are taken as confirmed. Refunds will be made by the original method of payment. Any dispute regarding a purchase made from this site will be governed under Australian law.
