We offer free shipping for all purchases.
For destinations within Australia, we use Star Track Retail Pty Ltd or Australia Post. Delivery is usually overnight, however regional areas can take 1 or 2 days longer.
For overseas destinations we use international recorded airmail for purchases up to $800, which usually takes 7-14 business days for delivery. For purchases over $800 we use FedEx International Priority (2-3 business days), we will provide you with a tracking number for your goods, after they have been dispatched.
All items are usually shipped within 2 business days of ordering. In the unlikely event that this is not possible to ship the goods within a timely manner, we will email you to advise you of the likely delay. Shipping times do vary - particularly during holiday seasons - and are purely dependent on the postal/shipping services involved.
Overseas Tax and Duty
Due to the Free Trade Agreement between the USA and Australia there are no taxes or duty for goods (jewelry)imported/delivered to the USA
Deliveries to other countries may incur local taxes or duty.
Please check with your local customs office or equivalent for details.
No charges or taxes levied by the country of destination are part of the payment for goods (jewelry) made to Opals Australia.
Opals Australia offer different shipping option based upon the value of the purchase.
International orders under A$500 will be shipped via international registered mail. This shipment option is free for purchase over A$200, and cost A$20 for order under A$200. Any international orders over A$500 will be posted via FedEx with an approximate delivery time of 2 ñ 3 working days. FedEx allows for detailed tracking through the delivery journey and have proven to be the quickest and reliable choice for our overseas delivery.
For all orders, regardless of value, destined within Australia, we use Australian Air Express which is a quick and reliable service.
Shipping times indicated are our best estimate which can be affected by the postage services used and subject to delay in busy seasons.
